QC080000 is a globally recognized standard for the reduction and control process management system for hazardous substances in electronic and electrical products, supplementing the ISO9001 quality management system standard.

SGC ensures scientific environmental risk management from the production source to the finished product, making the governance of hazardous substance use in the entire process, including incoming materials, production, and sales, more standardized and transparent. It has the capability to provide customers with strong control over hazardous substance risks throughout the entire lifecycle, from sample development to mass production and market launch.

IECQ, the International Electrotechnical Commission's system for the qualification of electronic components, is under the International Electrotechnical Commission and is the only global organization that conducts comprehensive quality assessments of electronic components. It is responsible for quality assessments of electrical products, materials, and production processes and is the first international certification organization to implement specific product quality certification within the IEC and ISO.

The IECQ Hazardous Substances Process Management System is based on the standard IECQ QC080000. The IECQ QC 080000 standard is established on the basis of ISO9001:2015. To apply for QC080000, one must first pass the ISO9001 certification; otherwise, it is not possible to apply. QC080000 is a supplement to the current ISO9001 quality management system, consistent with the ISO9001 structure, and is a comprehensive, systematic, and well-known management system.
